The Challenge
Trattoria Massimo, a family-owned Italian restaurant in Geneva's old town, was invisible in local search despite excellent food and loyal customers. Their Google Business Profile was incomplete, they had no reviews strategy, and their website was a single-page site with minimal content. Competitors with inferior food but better online presence were capturing the majority of search-driven diners.
Our Solution
We completely rebuilt their Google Business Profile with professional photos, comprehensive menu information, proper categories, and regular Google Posts about seasonal specials. We implemented a review generation system using table cards and follow-up emails, growing their review count from 23 to 180+ in 6 months. A new multi-page website was optimized for local search terms in both French and English. Local citations were built across 60+ relevant directories. We also created content targeting searches like 'best Italian restaurant Geneva' and 'private dining Geneva.'
